How do I try it?

Open the demo. It comes with a sample semester (courses, homework, grades and a capstone) so you can click around before adding your own.

Do I need an account?

No. Without one, everything stays on the device you're using. Sign in with your Throttle Mountain account when you want your semester on your phone, iPad and laptop at once. What you already added moves into your account when you sign in.

What can I use it on?

Any up-to-date web browser at app.seamlesssemester.com. The iPhone and iPad app is coming to the App Store.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Your semester is kept on your device, so you can add, check off and edit things with no connection. If you're signed in, your changes sync once you're back online.

Why don't I see the "Next class" chip?

It needs to know when the class meets. Open the course, go to Info, and add its class times. After that, Next class sets the due date to the next lecture, lab, discussion or studio for that course. Office hours don't count.

How is my grade worked out?

If the course has grade categories (like Homework 20%, Exams 40%), it's a weighted average of the categories that have at least one graded item, after dropping the lowest scores where you set that up. Categories with nothing graded yet are left out until they have something. With no categories, it's total points earned over total points possible. If your instructor gives an official grade, you can enter it on the Grades tab and it's shown instead.

How do I connect Claude?

Sign in first, then open Settings → Claude (MCP) and copy the address. In claude.ai, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste it, then sign in and allow access. For Claude Code, create a personal token on the same page and copy the command it shows you.

Claude adds and changes things through the same rules as the app, and you can disconnect it any time in Settings.

Can I see my classes in my calendar app?

Yes, when you're signed in. Turn on Subscribe in Calendar in Settings and add the link to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook. It shows your classes, due dates and capstone milestones. Anyone with the link can see them, so keep it private. Add start and end dates to your term so the classes show up.

I'm not getting reminders

Reminders come from the iPhone and iPad app. Check that notifications are allowed for it in the iOS Settings app, where it's listed as Semester (its name on your Home Screen). You can change the default reminder times in the app under Settings → Due dates.

I deleted something by mistake

Open Trash and tap Restore. Deleted things stay there for 30 days.

How do I delete my account?

In Settings → Account, choose Delete account and type your email to confirm. That removes your semester from our server for good. You can export a copy first under Settings → Data. See the privacy policy for the details.
