Today

What's due is always one glance away.

Today is the home screen. Your classes for the day, anything overdue, what's due today and tomorrow, and the rest of the week folded up underneath.

  • The class you're in right now is highlighted, with its room.
  • Swipe to finish something, or push it to tomorrow.
  • Everything is colored by its course, so you can tell ME 412 from MATH 340 without reading.
  • Reminders before things are due, right on your phone.
The Home Screen widget: 1 due today, 3 overdue, the next three items and the class you're in

And on your Home Screen, with the widget.

Quick Add

Add homework in five seconds.

Tap +, type the title, tap the course, tap when it's due. Done. The chips stay put, so you can add the next one right away.

  • Next class sets the due date to your next lecture or lab for that course, using your real class schedule.
  • Pick a kind: assignment, exam, quiz, reading, lab, paper and more.
  • Nothing gets guessed from what you type. What you tap is what you get.

Courses and grades

Know your grade, and what it could be.

Set up each course's grade categories once, with their weights. Enter scores as they come back and your current grade keeps itself up to date.

  • Weighted categories, with "drop the lowest" when your syllabus says so.
  • What-if: try scores on work that isn't graded yet and see where you'd land. Nothing there is saved.
  • Each course keeps its class times, rooms, instructor, office hours and notes.

Upcoming

Your whole week, classes and all.

Switch between a simple agenda of the next two months and a real week grid with your classes as blocks and due work on top.

  • Exams stand out, so they never sneak up on you.
  • Filter to one course when you're planning for it.
  • On the web, drag work to another day to reschedule it.
  • Subscribe in your calendar app to see classes and due dates there too.

Capstone

A real home for senior design.

Your capstone gets its own dashboard: milestones on a timeline, what's next, your team and advisor, meeting notes and links, all in one spot.

  • A timeline from kickoff to final due date, with today marked.
  • Meeting notes with attendees, and action items that land on your list.
  • Team, advisor and sponsor, one tap from an email.
  • Hours logged on the project, total and this week.

Works with Claude

"Add my whole syllabus."

Connect Claude to your semester and hand it the syllabus. Claude reads it and adds the assignments, exams and readings with their due dates, in the right course, the same way you would by hand.

  • Claude does the reading and sorting. The app never guesses dates or courses on its own.
  • Ask it what's due this week, log a grade, or move a deadline.
  • Connect it in claude.ai, or in Claude Code with a token. Disconnect any time in Settings.

An example of what you can ask.

Everywhere you are

iPhone, iPad and the web. Online or not.

Your semester lives on your device first, so it opens instantly and works without a connection. When you're back online it syncs to everything else you're signed in on.

Seamless Semester on iPad with the sidebar of courses and the Today page

Works offline

Add, check off and edit things in a lecture hall with no signal. Changes sync when you're back online.

Syncs quietly

Check something off on your phone and it's done on your laptop a moment later. No sync buttons, no spinners.

Sign in with Throttle Mountain

One account for Throttle Mountain's apps. Or skip it: without an account, everything stays on your device.

Your calendar, too

Signed in, subscribe to your semester in Apple Calendar or Google Calendar. Classes and due dates show up next to everything else.

Study timer

Time your study sessions by course and see where your week went.

Reminders

A nudge a day before and two hours before things are due, or whatever times you pick. Exams get a heads-up the evening before.
